Zendaya returns as the face of the Material Girl for the Spring 2015 collection. The campaign was shot inside the Bleecker Street Music store in New York City's West Village. The Material Girl collection, created by Madonna and her daughter, Lola, is sold at Macy's.
In the new campaign, Zendaya poses with records, headphones and mannequins inside the store. She models colorful print dresses, shorts, leggings, jeans and more. Zendaya holds Madonna's Like a Virgin album in a behind-the-scenes photo from the campaign. Madonna will be performing at the Grammy's this year.
Here is a behind-the-scenes video from the Material Girl campaign.
Madonna and Lola said in a statement, "Zendaya personifies the Material Girl, she loves to have fun and is constantly experimenting with trends. Her daring personal style and high energy made her the perfect face for our new collection."
Zendaya is a singer and actress. Her first single, "Replay," sold over 1 million copies in the U.S. She is the star of an upcoming Disney series, K.C. Undercover, which premieres on the Disney Channel on January 18. Zendaya plays an undercover spy in the series.
Zendaya says she enjoyed the shoot at the Blecker Street music store. She says, "Shooting this campaign was so much fun! I love the new Material Girl collection, it's all about bold pieces that you can mix and match. All of the looks are girly with a little bit of tough edge to it, very much like my own style!"
