Zendaya Covers Vogue, Performs 100 Years of Beauty

Posted on June 14, 2017

Zendaya graces the July 2017 cover of Vogue. It is her first Vogue cover. She wears a Calvin Klein dress on the cover with a Diane Von Furstenberg disc earring and Dinosaur Designs drop earring. Zendaya's first Vogue cover comes as the actress and singer will star in Spider-Man: Homecoming.

The cover shoot was shot by Mario Testino. Zendaya also rocks a Prada top and hat, J.W.Anderson chain mail dress, Fausto Puglisi ostrich shirt, Dolce & Gabbana bodysuit and more in the cover editorial.

Zendaya stars in the Disney hit K.C. Undercover. She had some demands before taking the role which Disney agreed to. She made them change the title from Super Awesome Katy to K.C. Undercover, which was a good move. Zendaya tells Vogue she told them, "Do I look like a Katy to you?" She also didn't want her character to be able to sing or dance even though she is talented at both.

Zendaya says, "I want her to be martial arts–trained. I want her to be able to do everything that a guy can do. I want her to be just as smart as everybody else. I want her to be a brainiac. I want her to be able to think on her feet. But I also want her to be socially awkward, not a cool kid. I want her to be normal with an extraordinary life."
