Witches, Batman Characters and Animals Top Adult Costume Choices for Halloween 2017

Many adults will be dressing up as witches, Batman characters, animals and pirates this Halloween. The NRF's Annual Halloween Spending Survey for Halloween 2017 found these costumes are the most popular choices for adults. Witches topped the list followed by characters from the Batman universe. The Batman characters include Batman, Catwoman, Harley Quinn, The Joker, Robin and many others. Animal costumes came in third, followed by pirates in fourth and Marvel superheroes in fifth.The NRF study may have missed dinosaur or it fits into the third slot with animals. WRIC reports that Walmart has found the Jurassic Park T-Rex Inflatable Adult Costume from Rubie's is the most popular adult costume in many states.
Last year the top five slots went to witches, pirates, politicians, vampires and then Batman characters. Batman really climbed up the list this year. Here is the list of top adult costume choices for 2017.
