Wendy's Launches Bacon Portabella Melt on Brioche Bun

Wendy's has announced the return of the Bacon Portabella Melt. This time Wendy's is offering it on a brioche bun. The brioche bun is a new bread offering from the fast food chain. Wendy's pretzel bun will end this month. The Bacon Portabella Melt contains a 1/4 lb beef patty, sauteed portabella mushrooms, creamy cheddar cheese sauce, two slices of and Applewood smoked bacon. It also contains two slices of American cheese. It will cost $4.79 - prices may vary in different markets.
Craig Bahner, Wendy's chief marketing officer, said in a statement, "With the departure of the pretzel bun comes the introduction of other innovative breads paired with unique flavors we believe our customers will love."
