Whataburger App Helps Houstonians Track Power Outages

There were nearly 3 million without power in Houston and in south Texas after hurricane Beryl hit the area hard. Houston residents made clever usage of the Whataburger app.
The CenterPoint app was not providing its normal map showing power outages so Houstonians turned to the Whataburger app. The app shows which of its many local restaurants have power or not. This map gives Houston residents insight into where power is out in the region and where it has been restored.
