Posted on July 22, 2011
Her Majesty The Queen and Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge toured the new Royal Wedding Dress Exhibition at Buckingham Palace. In this video, we see the Queen and Catherine looking at the dresses as the curator leads them through the exhibit.
The Queen can be heard chatting with her granddaughter in law, and with the curator. The exhibition is expected to sell out -- approximately 600,000 tickets will be sold.
The wedding exhibition is part of the official tour of Buckingham Palace, which is open to the public through October 3, 2011. The cost is $28.50. Visitors get to see 19 state rooms, the wedding exhibition (which shows Catherine's Alexander McQueen dress, the Cartier "Halo" tiara loaned to her by the Queen and her custom made shoes, as well as replicas of the wedding cake and her bouquet), a special Royal Fabrege exhibit and one of the palace gardens.
