The Making of Olive Oil Soap in Marseille, France

CNN's Atika Shubert investigated the 1,000-year-old tradition of making olive oil soap in Marseille, France. The recipe for olive oil soap is just salt water, olive oil and soda ash boiled for days.
The mixing is done today by machines but years ago a soapmaster would perch dangerously over the steaming cauldron and observe the soap being made.
