Louis Vuitton Featured in Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony

Posted on July 29, 2024

Louis Vuitton had a major feature during the Opening Ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. You can see the masked runner carrying the torch through the Louis Vuitton building in the above video.

Louis Vuitton created custom-made trunks to house the Olympic and Paralympic Paris 2024 medals and torches. The trunks could be seen inside Louis Vuitton and on carts outside the building.

Louis Vuitton says, "Reflecting Louis Vuitton's trunkmaking heritage, the Medals Trunks' interiors are entirely lined with black matt leather, while the exterior showcases the iconic Monogram canvas. The equally emblematic Damier motif canvas dresses the elegant facade of the Torches Trunks, contrasting the inner lining."
