Lana Del Rey to Star in Tropico Short Film

Lana Del Rey will star in a 30 minute film called Tropico. Above is a trailer for the film.
Lana shared a couple posters from the short film on her Twitter account, @LanaDelRey. Lana wears a bikini made of flowers in one of the images and she is holding a snake in the second image.
Lana did not reveal any details about the film except its length. The Guardian reports that the film is a "tale of redemption." Lana is fond of long music videos and this may be an extra long music video. The Guardian says it may include three different songs. The short film co-stars Shaun Ross and was directed by Anthony Mandler.
Lana Del Rey's "Ride" music video is over ten minutes long, but it has garnered over 32 million views, so lengthy videos are working for the young singer.
