First Burger Joint Opens in Cuba

Posted on August 17, 2015

A new restaurant in Havana is serving hamburgers. The AP is calling it Cuba's first burger joint.

The restaurant is called La Pachanga. It servers burgers and fries. The restaurant is open almost 24 hours a day. One fan of the restaurant says it is a neighborhood experience and not a commercial experience.

The video shows an extra huge hamburger with multiple patties and a hat on top. The hat does not look edible. The new restaurant comes as the U.S. is opening its new embassy in Cuba and diplomatic relations between the U.S. and Cuba are improving.
