Video: CNN Investigates Hidden Cameras in Airbnbs

Hidden cameras are a serious privacy concern for people staying in other people's homes. This includes homes listed with Airbnb. No one wants to be privately surveyed and recorded.
CNN's Kyung Lah investigated and found clear evidence of hidden cameras. They were told there have been tens of thousands of tickets indicating camera problems.
Guests could easily avoid obvious cameras and turn them off or cover them if the owner simply forgot to disable them. The main issue are the cameras that are not obvious. Examples include cameras disguised as a charger or a clock and cameras hidden an outlets and smoke detectors. Cameras like these indicate an Airbnb host is likely trying to privately record guests.
