Unicorn Named Gigi is Hardest Fingerling to Find

WowWee has a very hot holiday toy with its new Fingerlings. The little clinging interactive monkey toys were first introduced this summer and quickly became a hard to find toy. Now, WowWee has made finding Fingerlings even more complicated by introducing a unicorn that will likely be on many children's wish lists.

Unicorns seem to increase demand for a product whether it is a beverage, t-shirt or girl's handbag. The unicorn fingerling is a baby girl unicorn named Gigi. She clings like the other fingerlings but has special unicorn sounds. She turns her head and has blinking eyes. WowWee says she has over 40 different reactions including kissing noises, unicorn whinnies and unicorn burps. She has cute little black hooves and a rainbow colored mane and tail.

Time notes that Gigi first made a quiet debut on the Toys R Us website. Toys R Us is the exclusive carrier of Gigi where she retails for $14.99. It is currently out of stock but the page is worth monitoring in case it comes back in stock again through a new shipment.

Not surprisingly, the toy has turned up elsewhere through third party sellers. The toy is findable but you will pay far more than the $14.99 retail price. It can be found on eBay, where it is selling for a multiple of its list price.
