Posted on March 30, 2012

Tori Spelling is a very busy woman. She has a new baby on the way and she has a new reality competition show she will be hosting. TLC announced that Tori will appear on the new series Craft Wars. In each episode three crafters will face a series of challenges in crafting. The show has been picked up for ten episodes and has already begun production in Los Angeles. It will premiere on June 26, 2012.

Amy Winter, the general manager of TLC said, "Craft Wars continues to re-define crafting as something extremely modern -- this is not your grandmother's crocheting. At its core, the series celebrates the creative sprit, which will resonate with TLC's audience."

Tori will be the host, executive producer and mentor to the contestants. Tori is really into crafting and has launched her own line of craft products called "The Tori Spelling Collection." She also has a new party planning book coming out called CelebraTORI. She also has a new do it yourself jewelry line coming out called "Styled by Tori Spelling."

Tori said in a statement, "As a lifelong crafter, I love how crafting gives you the opportunity to reallyexpress yourself and show your creativity. It's an amazing outlet and nothing shows love more than something homemade. I can't wait to share my passion and be inspired by all the amazing contestants."

Michaels is sponsoring the show and will have a "Michaels Craft Closet" for the contestants. Judges will include author and founder of Glitterville Studios, Stephen Brown; Erica Domesek, the founder and CEO of P.S.-I made this; and Michaels' creative expert Jo Pearson.
