Country singer Taylor Swift has teamed up with Jones Apparel Group's L.E.I. brand for a line of low-priced sundresses that will sold at Walmart for $14 each. Taylor's line will be called L.E.I. Sundresses by Taylor Swift and will begin selling at Walmart on February 1st. The line will have a total of five styles by March. Taylor is wearing a yellow sundress in the above image from the L.E.I. campaign. She accessorized with boots and a headband.
Taylor told WWD, "It was very important for me to create cute, affordable dresses. Especially in these hard times, making expensive dresses just doesn't make any sense."
Taylor says she still considers herself a musician and not a designer: "I like people who have worked their entire lives to become designers. I think that they have their place as designers and I have my place as a musician, and I'm going to pretty much stick to that."
The dresses look cute and with the $14 price tag and Taylor Swift's growing fame they should sell pretty quickly at Walmart.
