Taraji P. Henson Wears White Stella McCartney Gown to 2016 Golden Globes

Taraji P. Henson looked fabulous on the red carpet at the 2016 Golden Globes. Taraji wore a custom white gown by Stella McCartney that featured a fitted strapless bodice and caped train. Taraji accessorized with 107 carat Zambian cushion cut emerald earrings by Kimberly McDonald for Gemfields.
Taraji won Best Actress in a TV Drama win for her portrayal of Cookie Lyon on the hit show Empire. This is her first Golden Globe. She was nominated for an Emmy last year for her Cookie role.
Taraji passed out cookies to celebs saying, "Cookies for everyone tonight -- my treat!" She got her long train stepped on twice during the show but nothing could dampen her infectious enthusiasm. During her acceptance speech she thanked the Hollywood Foreign Press and talked about her character Cookie who who spent 17 years in jail for selling crack. The orchestra tried to play her off, but Taraji wasn't having it.
She read the telemprompter and was incredulous that they wanted her to hurry up. She said, "Please wrap? Wait a minute. I waited 20 years for this...Yeah, you're going to give me a little more time."
