Style Dotcom Site Now Forwards to Farfetch
Posted on June 22, 2017
Farfetch has obtained the style.com domain from Conde Nast. The domain now forwards over to Farfetch.com. A note says, "Thank you for visiting Style.com. You have now been redirected to Farfetch where you can explore the world’s greatest selection of luxury."
The Style.com change comes just months after Conde Nast relaunched the site and made a big investment into it. Farfetch is a British company that also owns London's Browns fashion boutique. It is now in a partnership with Conde Nast. The site sells fashions from multiple boutiques in exchange for a commission.
Anna Wintour, artistic director of Condé Nast and Vogue editor, told the Telegraph, "I've always believed that what sets Condé Nast apart is our voice and our vision. Partnering with Farfetch only enhances that, and brings a new dimension to all that we offer the world."
Farfetch founder Jose Neves says, "This global partnership with Condé Nast will significantly augment the retail experience for our customers, and we see it as a natural step in Farfetch’s approach to commerce and our strategic vision to connect those who create fashion, curate fashion and develop fashion content."
Farfetch has tabs for women, men and kids. You can use the tabs to find what is new for each gender. You can also select a category such as shoes, bags and accessories. You can also quickly browse by designer. Farfetch also has some editorial features.
