Starbucks Coffee Ice Cream Treats
Posted on March 24, 2009
Coffee and ice cream go great together and Starbucks is on top of the pairing. Starbucks has teamed up with Unilever, the parent of Ben & Jerry's and Breyers, for some new coffee flavored ice cream. The Starbucks Ice Cream comes in four flavors: Caramel Macchiato, Mocha Frappuccino, Java Chip Frappuccino and Coffee. It retails for $3.99.
There are also new ice cream bars that retail for $2.49. Reuters says the partnership with Unilever comes after Starbucks ended its partnership with Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream last year.
These are the four flavors as described by Starbucks:
- For the caramel lover – Caramel Macchiato – swirled Coffee and Vanilla ice creams with ribbons of golden caramel
- For the chocolate connoisseur – Mocha Frappuccino® – swirled Coffee and Chocolate ice creams
- For the Starbucks aficionado – Java Chip Frappuccino® – Coffee ice cream with dark chocolaty chunks
- For the purist-at-heart – Coffee – swirled Coffee and Espresso ice creams
Update: Starbucks also has ice cream coffee. These drinks are served in stores. Starbucks also provides tips about how to do this at home.
