Starbucks Unveils Caramelized Honey Latte
Posted on March 25, 2016
Starbucks has unveiled a new beverage called the Caramelized Honey Latte. Starbucks says the new beverage was inspired by how the weather can switch from stormy to sunny so quickly during springtime.
The latte is made using slow-cooked caramel honey sauce mixed with Starbucks bold espresso and topped with steamed milk. It will be available this spring for a limited time. It is available as a hot, iced or Frappuccino drink.
Christal Canzler from Starbucks beverage development team says the drink is "perfect for spring weather." Canzler also says, "The caramel honey sauce is slowly kettle-cooked to develop a rich, caramelized flavor that stands up to our signature Starbucks espresso."
Starbucks also says this spring will mark the return of Teavana Shaken Mango Black Tea Lemonade. Starbucks frequently introduces new beverages. Earlier this month saw the introduction of the Cherry Blossom Frappuccino, which had an extremely short limited run from March 15 through March 20.
