Twilight Star Robert Pattinson on April GQ Cover
Posted on March 12, 2009
Robert Pattinson's fame is rising thanks to his role as undead Edward Cullen on the hot Twilight film series. Robet Pattinson is on the cover of the April 2009 issue of GQ. The article title says, "He's Hot, He's Sexy, He's Undead," which is hilariouis.
Pattinson is wearing a wool suit ($2,500) and silk tie ($180) by Dior Homme. He is also wearing a cotton shirt ($395) by Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquiere. Pattinson talked about his fear of interviews, his exciting love life and his role as Salvador Dali in Little Ashes.
On Interviews: "I just say the first thing that comes into my head, out of nervousness. During interviews I'm literally shitting my pants. I don't want there to be a silence, because I'll start crying."
On His Exciting Love Life: "There's literally not a single [true] story that could be written about me. I never do anything. There's this thing about my supposed girlfriend,. There's this one girl who's consistently mentioned. It's like, 'He's dating this Brazilian model.' "Yes, What's her name-Annelyse. I've never met her."
On Playing Salvador Dali in Little Ashes: "I thought I'd never get another acting job again. So I was like, 'Yeah-why not try to do something weird?' There's all these gay sex scenes. And y'know, I haven't even done a sex scene with a girl, in my whole career... And here I am, with Javier [Beltran], who plays Lorca, doing an extremely hard-core sex scene, where I have a nervous breakdown afterward. And because we're both straight, what we were doing seemed kind of ridiculous."
One of the photos in GQ shows Pattinson smoking a cigarette, which is not cool. Pictured below Pattinson is wearing a t-shirt by A|X Armani Exchange, jeans by Denim & Thread and a necklace by Rogues Gallery. You can see the full feature in GQ.
