Sphero and Disney-Pixar Launch Ultimate Lightning McQueen Robotic Car

Sphero, the company behind the popular BB-8 app-enabled Droid, has teamed up with Disney-Pixar for the Ultimate Lightning Machine app-enabled robitic car. Sphero's technology, such as emotive suspension, gives the robotic vehicle cartoon-like movements. The car can be controlled with a Sphero app.

Lightning has an LCD screen on the windshield for expressive animated eyes. It also has reactive touch to taps on its hood, trunk and sides. It contains 6 motors, 5 capacitive touch panels, 3 processors, an integrated speaker system and ambient light sensor.
