Sphero Launches R2-D2 App-Enabled Droid

Sphero has added a familiar droid to its growing lineup of app-enabled droids. The new droid in R2-D2. Some of the highlights include authentic movement, LED lights, familiar R2-D2 beeps and boops sounds and more.

The droid moves its head and makes emotive waddles like R2-D2. The interactive toy has functional front and rear lights. The app can be used to explore holographic simulations with R2-D2. It can interact with other Star Wars droids from Sphero (BB-8 and BB-9E). It comes with a USB charging cord.
