Polaroid Unveils Polaroid Pop Instant Digital Camera at CES 2017

Polaroid has unveiled its new Polaroid Pop camera at the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show. The camera prints full color photos using Zink Zero Ink Printing Technology. This capability is also found in Polaroid's Polaroid Snap and Polaroid Snap Touch instant cameras. The Pop camera was designed in partnership with the Ammunition design firm.

The camera prints a 3.5 x 4.25 inch print with the Polaroid Classic Border Logo. The camera also has a 3.97-inch touchscreen LCD enabling users to frame shots and navigate the camera menu. The camera has a 20-megapixel CMOS sensor and dual LED flash. It also provides 1080p full HD video recording.

Images and video are stoed on a micro SD card. The camera can connect to a mobile device using Wi-Fi and a Bluetooth chip. The free Polaroid print app can be used to edit and enhance photographs.

The camera will be available in the fourth quarter of this year. Pricing has not yet been announced.
