Necomimi Brainwave Cat Ears Launch in U.S.
Posted on July 12, 2012
NeuroSky officially launched Necomimi, their brain wave cat ears, at Comic-Con in San Diego. Necomimi is a headband with brainwave cat ears that move according to the user's moods.
The brainwave cat ears use three emotional states to create cat-like reactive movements that show how interested or relaxed the wearer is. When something catches the user's attention, the ears shoot straight up. When the wearer is relaxed, the ears droop down. NeuroSky says the ears will wiggle back and forth when the wearer is both highly focused and highly relaxed.
The unique cat ears have been discontinued by the manufacturer but can still be found on Amazon.com.
