Motorola Launches Square Flip Phone Called Motorola Flipout

Motorola launched a square flip phone with a QWERTY keyboard called the Motorola Flipout in 2010. The specs included a 700MHz processor, 256MB RAM, 3.1 megapixel cameras, GPS and 512MB of internal memory.
The Android 2.1 powered phones also included Motorola's Motorblur software for keeping up with emails, instant messages and social networking accounts. The phone came in several color options.

Update: The Flipout is interesting ten years later because some smartphone developers looking at new flip phone designs, such as the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and the Motorola Razr.
