Michael Bolton Stars in Customizable Video Ecard for American Greetings

American Greetings has launched customizable Michael Bolton birthday video ecards. The amusing ecards feature Grammy Award-winner Michael Bolton singing the card you create.

The cards allow the user to choose from over 800 names. The name options include terms of endearments like "Honey." There are also seventeen different message options such as "You are God knows how old today" and "You are still alive today." You also choose the dates of the target person's birthday.

Bolton sings all the different options in the video ecard. You can preview all the options in the ecard and watch Bolton perform on americangreetings.com. The ecard requires an American Greetings membership in order to send the card to a friend or family member.

Jenn Branch, Creative Director at American Greetings, says in a statement, "People want to feel celebrated on their birthday. They want fireworks; they want the marching band! When we were brainstorming ways to elicit that feeling, we thought 'what could be bigger and more epic than Michael Bolton singing a song just for you?'"

Bolton said in a statement, "I hope everyone has as much fun with this card as I did...and there's more where that came from."
