McDonald's Offering Lobster Rolls in Select Northeast Locations
Posted on June 20, 2016
McDonald's is offering lobster rolls in select Northeast locations. This is a return of the item. McDonald's first offered them about ten years ago. The lobster rolls return today and will be available through mid-August.
CNBC reports that the rolls will be available in select stores in the following locations: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut and the Albany, New York, area. They will not be available in any other states.
The rolls contain North Atlantic lobster meat, mayonnaise and lettuce. They are served on a toasted roll. The lobster roll costs $8.99. It has 290 calories which makes it a lower calorie item than many other McDonald's offerings.
Boston.com interviewed several people about the lobster rolls as you can see in the video below. Fast Food critic Daym Drops also managed to score one and you can watch his review on YouTube.
