Harrison Ford Designs a Watch

Harrison Ford has teamed up with Hamilton watches to create a special watch called the Hamilton Khaki Conservation Watch to benefit Conservation International. Ford has served on the board of the nonprofit organization for 17 years and totally supports its mission of protecting life on earth and demonstrating that human societies will thrive when in balance with nature.
Ford said: "I have served on the board of Conservation International for 17 years and have made a commitment to preserve the environment. The Hamilton Khaki Conservation watch was a great opportunity to raise proceeds and awareness in aid of our planet. I am proud to partner with a company with such rich history and integrity as they also recognize the importance of making a conscious grassroots effort to preserve the environment."

The Khaki Conservation timepieces have GMT functionality, with the second time zone selection covering a range of focus locations for Conservation International projects, from Colombia to Indonesia. Harrison was actively involved in the design of the watch -- it definitely has an Indiana Jones, adventuresome feel about it. It will be available in November, 2008, for $1,195 from Hamilton.
