Frowning Poop Emoji Among Unicode's New Emoji Candidates

The poop emoji has been one of the most popular emojis. It has a smiling face. Unicode, the organization behind the emojis, is considering adding a frowning poop emoji. The exact description of emoji candidate #1F979 is "frowning pile of poo."

Other emojis under consideration include overheated and freezing emojis, a wavy mouth (drunk) emoji, kangaroo, hippo, llama, mango, cupcake, firecracker, petri dish, DNA, abacus, receipt and many more.

You can see the full list of 67 emoji candidates here. If they make the cut you could see them on your smartphone next year.

We sort of feel like this emoji was promised to us and taken away and that makes us feel like a sad piece of poo.
