Disney Launches Princess & Me Dolls
Posted on September 24, 2010
Disney Consumer Products and Jakks Pacific have launched Princess & Me dolls, a line of 18-inch dolls based on Disney Princess characters. The goal behind the line is to bring the classic Disney Princess characters into a contemporary world. The line launches with a variety of outfits, including ballet and sleepwear, as well accessories.
Each doll comes with a booklet filled with Disney Princess facts and activities including a "Princess Personality" quiz, doll accessory features and tips for how to live like a princess including smile, hair styling, tea party and slumber party tips. Girls can send in a card to become an honorary princess and will receive a special card from their favorite Disney Princess on their birthday.
The dolls are being sold at Toys R Us and toysrus.com. Disney Stores will also carry the Princess & Me line later this fall. Here are the five Princess & Me dolls. They include Ariel, Tiana, Bella, Cinderella and Aurroa. The dolls cost $49.99 each.
