Posted on October 15, 2020
PepsiCo has launched Cheetos Mac 'n Cheese in grocery stores. They come in three different flavors: Bold & Cheesy, Flamin' Hot and Cheesy JalapeƱo.
PepsiCo says, "Combining the two together may sound merely like a delicious dream, but Cheetos is making it a reality."
The Cheetos mascot Chester Cheetah is featured prominently on the packaging. Each package features corkscrew pasta noodles.
Rachel Ferdinando, SVP, CMO Frito-Lay North America, says in the announcement, "Cheetos Mac 'n Cheese borrows that culinary inspiration to provide a mischievous mashup of an ordinary fan favorite. We're putting our orange-dusted fingerprints on an at-home staple at a time when home mealtime occasions are on the rise."
The mac 'n cheese products will first be available at Walmart and expand to other grocery stores nationwide in 2021.
Some people think it should be called Mac 'n Cheetos. Here's some video reviews from BuzzFeed.
