Android Powered BlackBerry KEYone Available for Purchase in U.S.

There is a new BlackBerry smartphone available and it is powered by Android. TCL Communication, the global smartphone licensing partner of BlackBerry, has made the unlocked phone available from Amazon and Best Buy. The phone has an Anodized aluminum frame and textured soft touch grip back.
Steve Cistulli, President and General Manager for TCL Communication, North America, says in the announcement, "This is an extremely exciting and humbling moment as we introduce a new BlackBerry smartphone to customers here in the U.S. with the launch of our BlackBerry KEYone. The KEYone is unlike any other smartphone available to consumers today, offering a premium communication experience, ensuring that our customers enjoy the security, long battery life and great functionality that have made BlackBerry mobile devices so iconic."
The KEYone has a 4.5-inch touch display made with Gorilla Glass 4. It has a Smart Keyboard with 52 customizable shortcuts. It is powered by Android 7.1 Nougat. It gets up to 26+ hours of mixed use per charge through its 3505mAh battery. It has a 12MP rear camera with a wide aperture lens and Sony IMX378 camera sensor. It also has a 8MP front camera with an 84-degree wide angle lens.
