Posted on July 8, 2017

BIKI is billed as the world first bionic robot fish. It is a 4K camera carrying underwater drone. The fish reference refers to BIKI's fish-like tail fin that helps it move through the water at speeds of up to 1.12 mph.

BIKI is small and portable. It has two small 114 lumens lights in the front. It can reach a maximum depth of 196 feet. The wireless drone can record up to 90 to 120 minutes of video. It has a camera stabilizer and 150 degree wide angle lens. It has 32GB of internal memory.

Other BIKI features include wireless control, automated obstacle avoidance, automatic balance and a built-in GPS. BIKI has already raised over $200,000 in pledges on Kickstarter - well over its $20,000 goal. A pledge of $599 or more will get you one of the underwater drones. BIKI is expected to retail for $1,024. The estimated shipping date is September, 2017.
