Princess Charlene Cries After Royal Wedding, But Are They Tears of Joy or Sadness?

Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco reaffirmed their marriage with a Catholic ceremony at the palace after their civil ceremony yesterday. Princess Charlene looked absolutely gorgeous, and seemed quite calm and collected during the ceremony. Charlene is wearing a sky blue Chanel suit in the above photograph.
After the ceremony was over, they followed tradition and drove by car to St. Devote shrine under the cliffs of the town centre, where the bride drops off her bouquet. Inside the tiny church, mother and her daughter sopranos sang a song in honor of the Virgin Mary. Marie-Clothilde Wurz De Baets and her daughter 11-year-old Juliette's simple song struck a nerve with the bride, who gave an emotional glance towards Albert then began to cry, with tears running down her beautifully made up face. A bit of mascara trailed down her cheek as she wiped her eyes and got her emotions under control.
Princess Charlene seemed happy during the church service, but one has to wonder about those tears later at the chapel. The palace admitted today that Prince Albert will have to undergo paternity testing to see if he is the father of a love child who is yet unnamed. This would be Albert's third illegitimate child, none of whom can inherit the throne under Monaco law. The French tabloids said Charlene was so upset when she heard the news, that she headed for the airport before Albert convinced her to stay and go through with the wedding.
We certainly hope things work out for Charlene. She seems like quite a nice person, who has worked so hard to fit in, learned French, and studied the customs and protocols needed to be a princess of Monaco. She also seems to genuinely love her new husband.
Princess Charlene looked lovely in a custom white gown made by Giorgio Armani. Prince Albert wore a white military uniform for the ceremony. This is the first royal wedding in Monaco since Prince Albert's father married American movie star Grace Kelly. Take a look:
