New Peeps Flavors Include Pumpkin Spice, Caramel Apple and Candy Corn

Just Born is expanding its line of marshmallow Peeps candies. There will be three new flavors arriving in stores on August 31. The new flavors of Chicks include Pumpkin Spice Peeps, Caramel Apple Peeps and Candy Corn Peeps.
There is already a lot of pumpkin spice flavored products in store aisles as autumn approaches. This is partly because people are eager for fall and the end of the hot summer temperatures and these products have become a sign of the change in seasons. Food marketers and manufacturers have been pushing trends earlier and bigger than ever before. The arrival of actual pumpkins in stores for Halloween used to be one of the first signs of fall. Now pumpkin spice food and beverages are the first to arrive. This year these products will include Pumpkin Spice Peeps for the first time.

Some editors at the Huffington Post ate the new peeps. They say the new peeps all have a hardened fudge base. This is different than other Peeps that are just entirely marshmallow. The Caramel Apple Peeps have a caramel fudge base and the Pumpkin Spice Peeps and Candy Corn Peeps each have a white fudge base. The Caramel Apple variety went over the best with the HuffPo editors.
The new Peeps follow the arrival of the new Sweet Lemonade Marshmallow Chicks that arrived this summer. The new Peeps flavors will be sold at the Peeps online store at peepsandcompany.com and at Target stores.
