Orange Leaf Launches Pistachio Frozen Yogurt Flavor

Orange Leaf has launched Pistachio flavored frozen yogurt. The new flavor is part of the company's Year of the Flavor campaign. Orange Leaf says the pistachio flavor first appeared in frozen desserts, like ice cream, around 1840. The creation is credited to American chef James W. Parkinson of Philadelphia.
Orange Leaf is recommending two recipe ideas for its new Pistachio flavor:
- Pistachio Cheesecake: Pistachio and Cheesecake swirled froyo topped with Cheesecake Bites, Graham Cracker Crumbs and Chocolate Sauce
- Spumoni: Use a divider to create an Orange Leaf Spumoni with Pistachio, Vanilla and Chocolate froyo topped with Cherries and Almonds
