Old Navy Gets Creative With Store Circulars

Old Navy is emulating celebrity gossip publications with its latest ad circulars. The flyer above is called the ON Weekly. It stars mannequins and resembles an US Weekly magazine cover.
The company needs to get creative after its January same-store sales for stores open at least a year or longer plunged 34%.
Old Navy's new TV ads portray mannequins called Supermodelquins making jokes and talking about Old Navy clothing. AdWeek says Old Navy is targeting mothers aged 25-35 with its Supermodelquins campaign. The ad agency behind the campaign is Crispin Porter + Bogusky.
