Oakley Designs Sunglasses to Benefit Autism Charity TACA
Posted on December 29, 2009
Oakley has designed special edition eyewear to benefit Talk About Curing Autism (TACA), an organization that supports and educates families living with autism. Oakly will donate $20 to TACA with each sale of these special edition sunglasses.
TACA Executive Director Lisa Ackerman said in the announcement, "Corporations like Oakley are a wonderful gift to TACA and the families we serve. Oakley brings a powerful influence to foster awareness and visibility of autism, and to aid our mission to help a community in great need. We are grateful for this support, and for friends like Oakley.
The TACA Oakley Fuel Cell and TACA Oakley Ravishing eyewear sunglasses contain a puzzle motif to indicate that the autism puzzle will one day be solved. The sunglasses will sold on Oakley's website, oakley.come, and in specialty stores.
