Minions Appear in Vogue Short Film

The Minions appear in a new short film created by Suzy Menkes for British Vogue. The mockumentary explores the impact Minions have had on the fashion industry. It also includes a faux Minion cover.
Stuart is the Minion on the Vogue cover. The cover has funny taglines like "Utility chic," "Minion Effort, Maximum Impact" and "50 Shades of Yellow." The Minions do have their own official color of yellow, Minion Yellow, which was launched earlier this year by Pantone.
The Minions film has been a huge hit this year with a domestic box office approaching $250 million. Vogue International Editor Suzy Menkes says the yellow creatures are also influencing style. She interviewed designers Alber Elbaz, Domenico Dolce, Giles Deacon, Rupert Sanderson, Stefano Gabbana and milliner Stephen Jones to find out the huge impact Minions have had on fashion.
Alber Elbaz says the Minions tell him what to do at Lanvin. He says he likes to have launch with Kevin. Rupert Sanderson admits that it is true he has been trying to conceal the fact that Minions are the inspiration behind his entire fashion collection. Giles Deacon says he has no actual talent himself - it is all the Minions. They break into his shop at night.
Alber says he hates yellow but the Minions make him love yellow. The Minions video helped launch the new video section for British Vogue. Take a look:
