Michael Phelps' Mom Causes Stir With Her Chico's Ensembles

So what does the mother of the most decorated Olympian in history wear to watch her son amaze the world? She wears Chico's. Debbie Phelps, mother to Olympic swimming champion Michael Phelps, headed to her local Chico's in Towson, Maryland before her trip to Beijing.
Debbie looks very well turned out in her Chico's Travelers Collection and Novelty Print tops. The Travelers Collection doesn't wrinkle, no matter what you do to it and it's friendly to a curvy figure. Debbie, who is an educator and single mother, chatted about her love for the retailer:
"Before I left for Beijing, I went to Chico's and picked out my entire wardrobe for the trip. I knew I was going to need to be prepared for a variety of events, activities and climates so I picked key pieces that I could mix and match, dress up, and dress down. That's what I love about Chico's; their clothes aren't only well made but also great for travel. They drape beautifully, don't cling, and flatter all body types. I'm a jewelry person, so I love that you can change the accessories and have an entirely new look. It's fun. I love Chico's," says Debbie Phelps.
