McDonald's $5 Meal Deal Continues Well After June Launch

McDonald's launched its $5 Meal Deal earlier this summer. The June deal was only intended to run for one month but it was extended through August and is still running.
CNN reported last month that an internal McDonald's memo indicated customers like the deal and that it was "siphoning off business from its competition."
It said 93% of McDonald's locations kept the deal through August. We are now in September and the deal is still listed on McDonald's Deals page.
Here are the items available with the $5 Meal Deal:
- Your choice of a McDouble or McChicken sandwich
- Small fries
- 4 piece Chicken McNuggets
- Small soft drink
It is not known exactly when the limited time Meal Dael deal will end.
McDonald's is also offering a free medium fry with any $1 minimum purchase through the end of the year on its app.
