Madonna Stars in New Dolce & Gabbana Ad Campaign

Madonna stars in the new Dolce & Gabbana ad campaign. Shot in black and white by Steven Klein in Harlem, the photos are reminiscent of the film Mama Roma which starred Anna Magnani. The photos show Madonna in scenes from typical Italian family life: she plays with her baby infant, inspects chickens at the market, has her grandmother alter her skirt and so on.
Here is the full backstage video from the winter 2011 Dolce & Gabbana womenswear campaign photoshoot directed by Steven Klein. The backstage video includes clips of Madonna trying to get the baby to laugh and her rescuing escaping chickens. It looks like they had a great time on the set. Take a look:
