Macy's has opened an Etsy store inside its Herald Square flagship store. The Etsy store contains a curated collection of over fifty items from eight different Etsy sellers.

Etsy reported the news about its latest retail partner on its blog. Etsy says, "We applaud Macy’s for their support of independent designers on Etsy Wholesale by showcasing their unique creations to Macy’s customers. Macy’s team of buyers hand-selected more than 50 products for the launch of the new Etsy Shop. The assortment, which features stationery, jewelry and homewares, also includes five unique items designed exclusively for Macy’s from Etsy shops Sol del Sur, Meera Lee Patel, and Modern Mud."

Etsy says the shop will be refreshed with new products every six to eight weeks. The items will focus on a different theme each time they are refreshed.

The exclusive products in Macy's Etsy store are pictured below. They include a ring dish from Naomi Singer of Modern Mud. Naomi says, "As Etsy and Macy’s celebrate local New York designers for this project, I decided to hand paint the iconic ‘I heart NY’ logo, originally designed by Milton Glaser on one of my ring dishes with 22k gold accents bordering the dish."

Fortune reports that the Etsy store is a move by Macy's to become less reliant on apparel sales. Macy's reported lower comparable sales over the holiday period.
