Leopard Cubs Photoshopped to Look Like Lion Cubs in Julianne Moore's Bulgari Campaign

Bulgari has shot the most amazing ad for the winter accessories campaign. Julianne Moore poses with two absolutely adorable lion cubs, as well as a fabulous Bulgari handbag and jewelry.
Bulgari released a backstage video of the Fall/Winter Bulgari collection featuring Julianne Moore. Now you can see how the photo of Julianne Moore lying with lion cubs was created. In the video it looks like the cubs were actually leopard cubs that were photoshopped to look like lion cubs. Perhaps the spots were considered too busy and distracting? In any event, the cubs are adorable with or without spots. Still, it's kind of disturbing that even baby leopards aren't considered cute enough without a good dose of Photoshop.
This same ad was also banned in Venice. The Telegraph reports that the ad campaign is too much for Venice officials. Venice mayor Giorgio Orsoni deemed the ad, which we love, to be too risque. Bulgari will use a different Julianne Moore ad from the campaign in Venice.
Orsoni told Italian newspapers that "an advertisement showing a nude woman on a divan is not appropriate for St Mark's Square."
Julianne Moore is completely covered up by the cubs and the Bulgari handbag in the advertisement, but we can understand why they might want a different version of the ad. The city council of Venice also disliked a recent Coca-Cola billboard. There was no nudity, but the council did not like the billboard's "glaring colors."
