Painted Adirondack Chairs From Lands' End
Posted on May 5, 2009
Lands' End sells classic painted Adirondack chairs. The Adirondack Chair first appeared in upstate New York, in a region near the Adirondack Mountains, at the turn of the 20th century.
In addition to classic painted Adirondack chairs, Lands' End also sells themed Adirondack chairs for the kids - like the shark Adirondack chair. The top of the chair is made to resemble a shark's mouth. It even has a fin on the right side.

The chairs cost $575 and can be found on landsend.com. It would be cool if they would make the shark Adirondack chair in white in adult size.
Kate Marringa, Lands' End Home design director, says in a statement, "The centerpiece of the collection is our new Painted Adirondack Chair - available in brilliant summer colors, as well as classic white and deep evergreen."
Update: We have not seen the shark-themed Adirondack chairs at Lands' End lately.
