Lady Gaga Wears Custom Versace Gown to 2016 Golden Globes

Posted on January 11, 2016

Lady Gaga looked stunning on the red carpet at the 2016 Golden Globes in Los Angeles. Gaga wore a custom gown made by Atelier Versace. The black velvet fitted gown featured a sweetheart neckline, off the shoulder sleeves, exaggerated hips and a short puddle train. She accessorized with diamond bracelets, diamond drop earrings and a cocktail ring by Neil Lane. She also wore her heart shaped diamond engagement ring given to her by Taylor Kinney.

Gaga had two of the most talked about moments at the show. When she won the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress for her role as the Countess in Ryan Murphy's American Horror Story. She looked truly shocked, having just beaten out nominees Sarah Haye, Felicity Huffman, Queen Latifah, and Kirsten Dunst.

She quickly made her way to the stage, but it wasn't easy getting there. One guy had his leg in the aisle and she successfully maneuvered past him. Then she had to get past Leonardo DiCaprio who seemed oblivious as to what was going on. He was laughing with a friend at his table, and had his elbow on his chair, sticking into the aisle, blocking Gaga from getting to the stage.

She brushed past him, knocking his arm off the chair. His shocked reaction was caught on camera, as was his eyeing her rear end and then raising his eyebrows. Twitter erupted at the kerfuffle and the apparent diss by Leo. When Entertainment Tonight showed Leo and Revenant director Alejandro Inarritu the clip of the moment and told him it had gone viral, Leo seemed shocked. He watched the clip and explained, "Oh Lord, that's trending, huh?...I just didn't know what was passing me. That's all!" Inarritu burst out laughing when he saw it and left the frame as fast as possible.

Hmmm...he didn't know "what" was passing him? That's rude. He also had a chance to say something nice about Gaga or that he didn't mean anything by the look – and he passed. Sounds like he was just shocked that the incident was caught on camera, making him look bad. Gaga looked fabulous. She said in her teary acceptance speech, "This is one of the greatest moments in my life." Here is the now infamous Leo eyebrow raise clip:
