Posted on March 22, 2021
Krispy Kreme is offering a free original glazed doughnut to guests who have been vaccinated against Covid-19. You need to show a vaccination card to get the doughnut. Krispy Kreme says the offer is good "anytime, any day, even every day – through the remainder of 2021."
Details about the doughnut offer can be found on Sweet Support section of Krispy Kreme's website. The offer beings today, March 22nd.
Krispy Kreme says it will also be delivering doughnuts to select vaccination centers in the coming weeks. They are also offering its team members up to four hours of paid time off to encourage and enable them to get their vaccinations.
The Covid-19 shots are getting easier to get in the U.S. as the supply of shots increases. About 25% of adults in the U.S. have received at least one shot. It takes two shots of the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines to achieve full immunity.
Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme Chief Marketing Officer, says in a statement, "We all want to get COVID-19 behind us as fast as possible and we want to support everyone doing their part to make the country safe by getting vaccinated as soon as the vaccine is available to them.
Krisy Kreme also tweeted the details:
