Kaia Gerber is the face of the Marc Jacobs Beauty Spring 2017 campaign. Kaia, 15, is the daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford. Kaia's campaign was photographed by David Sims and styled by Katie Grand. The campaign features makeup by Diane Kendal, hair by Guido Paolo and nails by Jin Soon Choi.
Kaia has big hair with a reddish tint in the 80s inspired campaign. She wears the matte gel eye crayon eyeliner in whirl(pool) and o!mega lash volumizing mascara in peacock in the top photograph. The new le marc liquid lip crème in slow burn was used for the second image.
Makeup artist Diane Kendal says in a statement, "Working with Marc is always incredibly inspiring, his energy is contagious and this shoot for the new Marc Jacobs beauty spring 2017 collection was no different. Marc wanted to do a youthful bold graphic look to feature all the beautiful new eye colors in the collection. the combination of the vibrant mascara and highliner together was perfect for Kaia's natural beauty and poise. I created a strong graphic shape with the highliner matte gel eye crayon eyeliner around her eyes and extended the lines out to give some drama to the look, then added the matching mascara to the top and bottom lashes. I chose to keep the rest of her face fresh and natural, playing out a look that is bold yet fun."
