Jonas Brothers to Launch Tween Apparel Inspired by Horace Mantis Academy
Posted on March 15, 2009
The Jonas Brothers is launching a line of preppy clothing for tween girls called Jonas. Disney Consumer Products is launching the line in time for back-to-school this Fall. It will be sold at major retailers including Wal-Mart, Kmart, Sears and J.C. Penney.
A WWD report says prices for the clothes will range from $9.99 to $24.99. The range includes argyle sweat vests with the Horace Mantis Academy logo, woven tops, polo shirts, t-shirts, plaid belted shorts, leggings, denim skirts and jeans.
The clothes will follow the launch of the Disney Channel's Jonas show that debuts in May.
The Jonas concert movie did not do quite as well as Disney hoped and they got beat by Tyler Perry. Despite the movie setback the group is still a huge hit with its fan base of tween girls. If the tv show is a hit the clothes are likely to sell.
