Jennifer Aniston looked simply stunning on the red carpet at the 21st annual Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles. Jennifer was accompanied by fiance Justin Theroux.
Jen wore a vintage gold snakeskin patterned gown from John Galliano's 1998 Paris collection which featured a very low cut bodice. She accessorized with a Make Love black diamond body chain by Amrit jewelry, which incorporates a spiritual meaning.
The body chain contains 29 black diamonds, as the number 29 signifies mastership in the yogic tradition. The chain features 14k gold pendants engraved with the Hu symbol, which is Sanskrit foe the sound of God. The chain retails for $5200 and was designed by Sat Hari, an American designer who studied in India. Her jewelry is in the yogic tradition. Jen wore another body chain by Amrit at the Critics Choice Awards: for that event she chose the black diamond lariat necklace. Jen also wore earrings and a bracelet by Fred Leighton.
Jennifer was one of the actors chosen to participate in the live "I am an actor" segment, which began with Robert Duvall telling a funny story why he became an actor. Jen's story was the funniest, though. She explained, "When I was a little girl growing up in New York City, all I ever wanted to be was Scarlett O’Hara....Oh well. I'm Jennifer Aniston and I'm an actor.”
Zach Galafianakis ended the segment with "I'm Zach Galafianakis, and...I'm an actor?" Zach has lost weight and looks fabulous. He said he quit drinking and started exercising.
Jennifer sat at a table with Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts at the awards ceremony.
