Iggy Azalea Talks Plastic Surgery in Seventeen's September Issue
Posted on August 15, 2015
Australian rapper Iggy Azalea covers the September 2015 issue of Seventeen magazine. Iggy wears an adorable short sleeve crew neck cropped sweater embellished with pearls and a light blue skirt on Seventeen.
Iggy opened up to Seventeen about her plastic surgery, which includes breast implants and a recent nose job. Iggy isn't afraid to admit to plastic surgery. In the past celebrities would tend to hide cosmetic surgery but the Internet makes it very difficult.
Iggy says, "I'm not denying it. Denying it is lame. I don't think you should be ashamed if you made a change to yourself, which is why I've spoken about the changes I've made, like with my breasts."
Iggy also says she spent a lot of time researching before getting a nose job. She says, "I read a lot about nose jobs online. Some women are really happy they got them, and some women changed their noses when they were younger, and when they got older they wished they didn't."
Iggy also says, "Plastic surgery is an emotional journey. It's no easy feat to live with your flaws and accept yourself-and it's no easy feat to change yourself. Either way you look at it, it's a tough journey. There are things that I didn't like about myself that I changed through surgery. There are other things I dislike but I've learned to accept."
Iggy has had a surprising summer. She shocks fans by canceling her concert tour. She then announced a surprise marriage to NBA star Nick Young. She told Seventeen that she canceled the tour because she wants to "start totally anew" and she needs a mental break after going non-stop for the past two years.
